The Competency Combo Special covers the Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act 60/2000 and includes the following accredited unit standards:

    Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act 60)
  • Unit Standard 119649
    Safely handle and effectively use a handgun in various conditions.
  • Unit Standard 119650
    Safely handle and operate a self‑loading rifle or carbine.
  • Unit Standard 119651
    Safely handle and operate a manually operated rifle or carbine.
  • Unit Standard 119652
    Safely handle and operate a shotgun.

How It Works
This combo program provides a comprehensive foundation in firearm handling and compliance with South African firearm legislation.
The qualification shoot will take place Monday, Friday, and Saturday
Lectures take place Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
