Handgun training covers the knowledge of the legal aspects relating to when you may and may not shoot in self-defense situations, firearm safety, loading and unloading, and the fundamentals of shooting. The entry-level to this course is Unit Standard 119649 – Knowledge of the Firearms Control Act 60/2000.
